Fifty Digital to lead European Games 2023 content output
Fifty Digital, the award winning creative and social media agency in sponsorship and sport, are thrilled to announce new partnership with multi-sport event the European Games.
Run by the European Olympic Committee (EOC), the umbrella body for 50 National Olympic Committees and Europe’s branch of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the 2023 edition will take place in Krakow and the Malopolska region of Poland in June and July this year.
Committed to spreading Olympic values and inspiring sport and healthy lifestyles across Europe, Fifty Digital will assist with the European Games’ global positioning as they look to create an enduring legacy in European sport.
Initially creating an audience-led editorial strategy and new social media look and feel, Fifty Digital will move into managing EOC channels, advising on local social media coverage and content creation with athletes and national governing bodies.
Fifty Digital will also manage on-the-ground activations in Krakow and the Malopolska region in general, focussing on the event itself but also on the positive impact the games will have on the area.
Alongside providing European athletes with a world-class opportunity to compete at a key juncture on the road to Paris 2024, sustainability and inclusivity are central themes to what the European Games represents.
This chimes perfectly with Fifty Digital’s ethos and represents a fantastic opportunity to promote broader social cohesion in Europe through sport. No new venues will be built for the games; €50m will be invested in sports facilities in the region; 7000 volunteers will help run the event; and there will be equality in gender participation.
Fifty Digital will use its experience and skills in audience data and analysis, digital channel optimisation, creative ideation, modern on-trend static, motion and video production and fan engagement, to deliver the European Games’ digital objectives and help achieve the most successful event in their history.
